Birmingham half marathon 2009 – Your opportunity to find a date?

For Marathon runners participating in the second Birmingham half Marathon taking place on the 11th of October, getting to run your personal best and finding a date if you are single is a way to kill two birds with one stone. The Birmingham half Marathon is young, this is only the second run but it is quickly becoming very popular at attracting world class runners, this is due in part to IAAF upgrading it to a world championship run. This also means the event now attracts cream of long distance running with many well know international runners including British own number one lady of long distance running Paula Radcliffe expected to run.

For the single marathon runner hoping to attract a date on the day it is potentially a great way to meet members of the opposite sex, over 10,000 runners are expected to participate and a great deal of them are probably single so why not put on your best running shoes and running gear just in case you find a woman or man that catches your fancy.
