For Marathon runners participating in the second Birmingham half Marathon taking place on the 11th of October, getting to run your personal best and finding a date if you are single is a way to kill two birds with one stone. The Birmingham half Marathon is young, this is only the second run but it is quickly becoming very popular at attracting world class runners, this is due in part to IAAF upgrading it to a world championship run.
